Aerial resources played a crucial role in reinforcing control measures by dropping retardant along the southern perimeter, 2 miles southeast of Agness, OR on the 27th of July, 2023,

Helicopters further supported firefighting efforts by dropping water buckets along the southeast perimeter to moderate fire behaviour and slow its eastward progression.

Taking advantage of favourable weather conditions, firefighters conducted firing operations to secure additional control lines along Forest Road (FR) 3680 towards the Snow Camp area.

Additionally, four rappellers were deployed to address a small spot fire with minimal activity along the southeastern edge of the main fire.

These coordinated actions have helped to cool down heat areas and manage the wildfire effectively.
