Woman Tells How She And Pet Dog Snuggled During Cold Evenings After They Got Lost While Taking A Walk

This video shows a woman telling the story of how she was rescued after she went missing for three days in the cold.

Joann Ward and her dog Mia were brought to safety three days after they got lost in Yavapai County, Arizona State, USA.

The 72-year-old woman said they could not find their way back to the campsite after the pet chased a rabbit, and she ran after her.

The two reportedly survived the cold after they snuggled up together and kept each other warm in the evenings.

Local media revealed that 50 people were looking for Joann and Mia before they were brought back to the campsite.

Ward and Mia would snuggle up together to keep each other warm when the temperature dropped in the evenings.

Yavapai County Sheriff David Rhodes said: “I am so grateful for Mrs Ward and her family and that she was home safe, and for the Yavapai County Sheriff Office’s Search and Rescue volunteers who went out, found her and brought her home just in time for the holidays.”
