This is the moment a police officer helps an elderly victim after a crash at an intersection that saw one car flipped onto its side.
The dashcam footage filmed by the police car shows how the officer was driving along a road in Clayton County, in the US state of Georgia, when he witnessed the crash, with an SUV toppled onto its side as a result.
The officer does not hesitate for a second and stops to help, getting out of his car and climbing on top of the SUV before lifting the driver-side door open and helping the OAP out of the vehicle with the help of a member of the public.
The video shows the victim clambering out of the vehicle as the footage ends.
Newsflash obtained a statement from the Clayton County Police Department on 10th October saying that the police officer “jumped into action” after witnessing the accident.
The officer has been named in local media as Sergeant J. Davis, with the incident said to have taken in on 27th September.
The accident reportedly happened after the other vehicle went through a red light.
It is currently unclear if the elderly driver, who has not been named, was injured.
