Detectives in the US State of Oregon are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who assaulted a woman and threw a bottle at her for no apparent reason.
The victim was walking near the intersection of Southwest 17th Avenue and Southwest Yamhill Street in Portland when the suspect threw a metal bottle directly at her face at around 10:50 pm on 28th July.
The severe blow caused the woman to instantly lose consciousness.
After the assault, the suspect quickly fled the area.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s-30s, wearing a dark flannel jacket with a black or darker hood, a black shirt with a white logo across the chest area, black pants, and carrying a backpack.
Authorities have released still images of the suspect and video footage of the attack to aid potential witnesses in identifying the individual or providing information about his whereabouts.
