POV Footage Reveals Firefighters’ Intense Struggle In Close Combat Against Raging House Fire

This dramatic POV footage filmed by a firefighter’s body-cam shows the serious danger first responders are exposed to as he gets up close and personal with a raging blaze in a California State home.

The video was recorded as fire personnel were dispatched to a four-unit apartment complex, located on the 20800 block of 94th Street, in Kern County, at approximately 11:42pm on 8th December.

California City Fire Department Paramedic Engine 19 with assisting fire engines from Kern County Fire Department and Edwards AFB Fire Department arrived on the scene to find a “well-established” room and attic fire in one of the units, with smoke coming from the roofline.

Medic Engine 19 firefighters initiated a fire attack and a primary search of the involved unit and adjacent units.

The fire was so violent that first responders had to request reinforcements.

As firefighters battled the flames, they simultaneously searched for any potential victims.

Thankfully, all searches came up negative, the California City Fire Department said.

No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
