Officers in the USA have arrested an individual on felony charges after stopping him for a search while driving over the limit.

The incident, according to the San Bernardino Police Department, happened on Sunday, 10th December.

They said in a statement obtained by Clipzilla: “Officers conducted a proactive patrol in the area of California and 16th Streets in a crime prevention effort.

“While patrolling, officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed.

“A traffic stop was initiated, but the driver had other ideas. A short vehicle pursuit ensued, which ended when the driver yielded, and a high-risk traffic stop was performed.

“Through further investigation, a firearm was recovered inside the vehicle. The suspect was arrested on felony charges.”
