Coast Guard Helicopter Rescues Nine Adults from Grounded Fishing Vessel

In a daring and swift operation, a Coast Guard helicopter aircrew successfully rescued nine adults after their 47-foot fishing vessel ran aground near the shoreline of San Clemente Island, California on the 29th of July 2023.

Upon arriving at the scene, the helicopter crew skillfully lowered a rescue swimmer to the vessel, ensuring the safe recovery of all nine adults onboard. After completing the rescue operation, the Coast Guard helicopter transported the rescued individuals to Coast Guard Sector San Diego.
