Emergency Aircrew Rescues Man Experiencing Chest Pains While At Sea

Helicopter crews airlifted a man to safety after he began experiencing severe chest pains while on a boat some 80 miles from the coast of Florida.

The rescue operation took place off the coast of John’s Pass, Florida on 2nd August.

Emergency crews aboard the Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater Jayhawk immediately took off after receiving a call about a man who started having severe chest pains and needed urgent help.

Video footage shows the moment they airlifted him using a large metal crate and safely brought him onboard.

The man, whose identity was not revealed, was then transported to Tampa General Hospital for medical treatment.
