Hurricane Idalia Brings Heavy Flooding Across Florida’s Coast

This footage shows the widespread flooding caused by Hurricane Idalia as it ravaged across the US State of Florida.

Cities from Tampa all the way to Tallahassee – a distance of over 200 miles – are faced with flooded roadways as the storm moves inland as of 30th August.

Coastal residents under evacuation orders packed up and left their homes as the storm intensified.

The Tampa Police Department warned residents about flooded roadways, saying “If you see flooded roadways- turn around, don’t drown.”

Officials are still assessing the damage from the hurricane, though storm surges were expected to reach their peak in the afternoon, leading to dangerous flooding conditions across the region.
