Escaped Pigs Move Into Apartment Complex

This is the moment deputies are sent to assist animal control officers in capturing two pigs that were running loose in a flat complex.

Animal control officers were able to quickly capture the pigs in the 1900 block of 70th Ave E in University Place, a city in Pierce County, Washington, and were in the process of taking them to animal control when the owners were located.

“Piggy Pay” and “Peter Porker” had escaped from their fenced property without their owners noticing. Officers helped the pigs get home, and the owner made sure the area they had escaped from was fenced off.

“Animal Control officers were able to quickly capture the pigs and were in the process of taking them to Animal Control when deputies located the owners,” sheriff’s officials said in a Facebook post.

Officers then helped get the pigs home, and the owners cordoned off the area where they escaped.
