A convicted paedophile and his partner have been seized by police after they staged a shocking nude sex session in front of children on an ocean bridge.
Horrified passersby watched as Robert Benjamin Clarke, 60, and Sara Fazekas, 55, stripped off and began frantically having sex on the causeway on Friday, 10th November.
The open-mouthed witnesses on Dunedin Causeway on Florida’s west coast, in the USA, included two children aged nine and 15.
A police affidavit stated that Clarke intentionally masturbated and exposed his manhood by “having full nude sexual intercourse” in front of the children.
Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office officers said they had multiple alerts over the couple’s bizarre 9pm sex show.
Police say that when they arrived they saw Clarke “laying on his back with no clothes around him and his penis fully exposed.”
They added: “After being taken into custody and asked about the incident, the defendant showed zero remorse that multiple juveniles had witnessed this act.
“He stated that the children should be at home and not on the causeway.”
In Fazekas’ affidavit, cops wrote that “the defendant and co-defendant were fully nude on top of one another”.
The document continued: “When taking the defendant into custody, she stated this ‘was always a dream of mine,’ referring to having sexual intercourse on the causeway.”
The pair was booked at Pinellas County Jail the same day.
Fazekas was charged with indecent exposure and possession of clonazepam, a highly addictive prescription drug used for treating anxiety disorders.
She was released on a USD 2,150 (GBP 1,724) bond on Saturday, 11th November.
Clarke was charged with lewd or lascivious exhibition. He was released after posting a USD 50,000 (GBP 40,092) bond two days later.
The former Defense Department civilian employee in Japan, has previously been found guilty of possessing child porn.
Multiple images of child pornography, which he confessed he used to pleasure himself, were found on his work computer.
He was sentenced to six and a half years behind bars and was given life-long probation.
