Police Officer Rescues Family From Apartment Fire

California cops sprang into action when they were alerted about a fire at an apartment unit that was quickly spreading and safely evacuated all its residents.

The officers with the Brea Police Department rushed to the scene after they received a distress call about a structure fire at Country Hills Apartments in Brea, California on 1st August.

Upon arrival, they were met with a harrowing sight as one apartment unit was fully engulfed in flames.

With the help of the local fire department, they wasted no time in evacuating neighbouring apartments to ensure the safety of residents and prevent further damage.

Body-worn footage shared by the Brea Police Department on 3rd August shows an officer helping a family escape from their apartment as the fire raged.

The fire was successfully extinguished, and all affected residents were safely escorted to a safe area without any reported injuries.

The Brea Police Department expressed their gratitude to their partners at the Brea Fire Department and the vigilant neighbours who called 911, their collective efforts proving crucial in protecting lives and property during this challenging incident.
