This is the moment Texas State Troopers discover nine illegal immigrants concealed inside a sand trailer during a routine traffic stop.

According to officials, the trailer, suspiciously towed behind a stolen truck tractor and sealed at the top, raised immediate concerns after it was spotted passing though Dimmit County at around 02:27 am on 7th September.

The driver, hailing from San Antonio, found himself in legal jeopardy.

He was promptly arrested and charged with unauthorised use of a motor vehicle and the grave offence of smuggling persons, with the potential for severe bodily injury or even loss of life.

All nine individuals discovered in the trailer, identified as illegal immigrants, were promptly referred to Border Patrol for further processing.
