Bare-Handed Cop Takes Down Biker Who Buzzed Mum And Baby

This is the moment a hero police officer takes down a rogue biker with his bare hands after he nearly hit a mother and baby racing through closed roads.

Police bodycam footage of the high-speed drama shows the biker ignoring one officer after another as he speeds down roads in Arvada, in the US state of Colorado, USA.

The streets had been shut to allow people to leave a fireworks display held to mark America’s 4th July Independence Day celebrations.

In the clip, the biker – later named as Trey Patrick Bailey – narrowly missed a mother walking her baby in a buggy, according to the police.

Then a police officer steps in and plucks the rider from his bike by wrestling him to the ground as he speeds by.

While he is pinned to the tarmac as the footage ends, Bailey can be heard snivelling: “I didn’t do anything.”

A statement from the Arvada Police Department obtained by Newsflash on 6th July said: “At 10:02 pm, W. 58th Ave was closed between Simms and Kipling Streets to allow pedestrians to safely leave the Lutz Field sports complex after the 4th of July fireworks show.

“The suspect, later identified as Trey Patrick Bailey, drove a motorcycle by an Arvada Police Lieutenant who attempted to stop him.

“The suspect slowed down, looked at the Lieutenant, and continued westbound in the eastbound lanes on 58th Ave, congested with pedestrians.

“As the suspect approached Miller St., an Arvada Police Sergeant (in a reflective vest) again attempted to stop him.”

It also said: “The body camera footage shows that the suspect encountered another Arvada Police Officer (also in a reflective vest) as he continued westbound on 58th Ave.

“The officer can be seen alerting a group of pedestrians and drawing their attention to the motorcycle just before it passes him at a high rate of speed.

“Finally, the suspect can be seen approaching Simms St. as a mother with a child in a stroller crosses the street and moves out of the suspect’s path just in time as an Arvada Police Officer takes the suspect off the motorcycle.
