A woman seized on drugs has been charged after she begged police searching her backpack not to confiscate her blue vibrator, it has emerged.
Suspect Ariella Messina, 27, stunned SWAT officers when she ignored them confiscating her stash of crystal meth and blurted out: “Don’t take my dildo.”
Messina was being raided at her home in Jensen Beach, Florida, USA, on Tuesday, 21st November when they searched a rucksack and she begged police to hand back her sex toy.
Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said in a statement obtained by Newsflash: “During the search units located in a purse two loose yellow pills along with a crystal-like substance inside a plastic baggie.
“Also, a Newport cigarette box was located with several loose yellow pills within a plastic baggie.”
She reportedly made it “apparent that the backpack was hers and she was aware of the contents inside”, by asking for the sex aid said police.
Police also seized cocaine, methamphetamine (crystal meth), drug paraphernalia, and brass knuckles while searching the home.
Medicinal muscle relaxants for which Messina, one of five arrested, said she did not have a prescription were also found in her possession, say police.
Bizarrely during the course of the early morning raid, a pet dog called Bear ran out of the house and hopped into an armoured SWAT vehicle
Local media revealed that Messina was on probation for a 2022 conviction for posessing cocaine, ecstasy, and marijuana.
She has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and booked into Martin County jail.
Messina is currently being held on a USD 10,000 bond (GBP 7,921).
It is currently unknown what investigators did with her sex toy, said media.
