Adrienne Edwards was arrested in Tulsa, in the US state of Oklahoma, after terrified co-workers tipped off the police at around 7.40am on Tuesday, 16th November.
It is understood that Edwards had vowed to shoot one of her bosses after being chewed out during a staff meeting for being too “mouthy”.
Police photos show Edwards wearing an all-black outfit and surrendering after giving up her weapon.
The Tulsa Police Department said in a statement obtained by Newsflash: “Store staff reported an employee, identified as Adrienne Edwards, made threatening remarks about shooting another employee.
“There were multiple witnesses who heard Edwards make the comments.

“Officers arrived and found Edwards sitting in her vehicle near the front of the store.
“Edwards was taken into custody and a loaded pistol was recovered from her car.”
They added: “Edwards admitted to making remarks involving a gun.”
The shop worker is facing a charge of threatening a violent act, according to the police.
Some have blamed the explosive bust-up on the pressure caused by the Thanksgiving and Black Friday weekend on 23rd and 24th November.
Industry insiders say it is notorious for increased stress, retail theft, and violence.
