Flagler County Deputies Catch Two Men Red-Handed in the Middle of a Drug Deal

Two men were caught in the act and arrested in Bunnell, Florida for drug-related charges by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) deputies on the 12th of September 2023.

According to the FCSO, 56-year-old Fredrick Gilyard and Eddie London, 50, were caught conducting a hand-to-hand drug transaction along South Anderson Street.

As the deputies approached the pair, Gilyard tried to flee while carrying a backpack.

However, he was caught by Deputy Kusek, who deployed his taser to subdue him.

Gilyard was arrested for Possession of Cathinones, Tampering with Evidence, and Resisting Arrest Without Violence.

Meanwhile, deputies found drug paraphernalia inside London’s bag, leading to his arrest for Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both men are being held at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on bond. S

heriff Rick Staly stated, “There is zero room for poison peddlers or their customers in Flagler County.”
