Men Busted Trying To Dig Up Grandmother’s Grave

Two men have been busted in Missouri for trying to dig up a dead grandmother’s body.

The footage, reportedly filmed at the Washinton Park Cemetery in Berkeley, Missouri, shows the two men being confronted by the police.

They have been named as Jimmie V. Allen and Zebulun Nash, both 73 years old.

They were reportedly caught in August, with the images only surfacing now.

Nash told the police that he wanted to move the body of his grandmother and that Allen was assisting him.

A witness named Kiesha Wayne explained that Nash had paid someone else to do it but after they failed to come through, he took it upon himself to perform the task.

But he did not have permission to carry out the unorthodox exhumation.

Missouri state law requires a state order for a body to be exhumed.

The pair were charged last Wednesday with attempting to destroy or deface cemetery property, according to local media.

Berkeley Police Chief Art Jackson said: “I was amazed.

“Twenty-nine years of doing this work, we’ve never had any issues or incidents like that.”

The case is ongoing, with both men expected in court next month, according to local media.
