A lucky woman and her hubby startled guests at their favourite restaurant when they started yelling after realising they had won a USD 100,000 payout from playing keno.

Angela Antico, 44, from Macomb County, Michigan State, USA, and her husband Paul admitted that they had simply screamed from excitement when they realised they matched numbers 3, 10, 11, 13, 16, 69, 76 and 77, in the lottery’s Kicker game.

The couple were reportedly driving home from work when they decided to stop by for lunch at their favourite place, Amore’s in the city of Chesterfield, on Saturday, July 29th.

Angela said in a statement obtained by Newsflash from Michigan Lottery: “We were on our way home from work and stopped at Amore’s for lunch.

“We only eat at places that have Club Keno because it’s fun to watch the drawings while we wait for our food, Amore’s is one of our favorite places.

“We watched the drawing, and it was hard to believe what we were seeing. We started yelling and soon everyone in the place knew we’d won.

“We cashed out and took the ticket home and scanned it with the Lottery app. Seeing the confetti on the screen and the USD 100,000 [GBP 78,345] prize amount was amazing!”

The couple collected their prize at lottery headquarters in the city of Lansing on Thursday, 10th August.

Angela revealed that she plans to use the prize to pay some bills and make some home reparations.

She added: “Winning still hasn’t sunk in yet and probably won’t until I’ve got the money in the bank.”

Michigan Lottery said: “Club Keno gives players 37 different ways to play and win.

“Players select up to 10 numbers to match from one to 80, with prize amounts determined based on the amount the player wagered.

“In 2022, Lottery players won more than USD 407 million [GBP 319 million] playing Club Keno, The KICKER, The Extra, and The Jack.”
