A couple accused of punching a mum of two unconscious and then shooting her seven times outside a bar have been seized by police in Florida.
The shocking slaughter took place after a row inside the bar called Mugs & Jugs in Pensacola, USA.
Victim Tierra Binion, 25, was punched senseless outside the bar at 1am on 23rd August and then gunned down in hail of bullets, say police.
Suspect Christian Ketchup is said to have hit her first and then his girlfriend, Rachel DeRise, showered her with more punches.
Shockingly – police say – Ketchup, 25, then pulled a handgun and repeatedly shot helpless Tierra.
He was seized after calling police to turn himself in and remains in custody accused of homicide.
DeRise, 23, was also arrested on suspicion of battery but has since been released on bail.
The victim leaves behind four-year-old twin sons, a husband, parents, and sister Diamond Johnson, who described her as a “sweet soul”.
Her devastated mother, Brandy Espiritu, told local media: “She meant a lot to a lot of people.
“Ever since she was a child, she’s always been a social butterfly, liked to make people happy and smile. She didn’t like seeing people down.”
Tierra had recently started a job at a restaurant and had plans to join the military.
Police in Escambia County say there have been 16 calls to Mugs & Jugs over the last two years, including reports of a stabbing just last weekend.
The venue took to social media on 23rd August, writing: “We are shocked and deeply saddened by the incident that occurred early this morning at our establishment that resulted in the death of Tierra Binion.
“At this time we will not be sharing sensitive information with the public as we are cooperating with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department’s active investigation.
“We understand that this is a difficult time for the family of Tierra Binion and an immense loss for the Pensacola community.
“We also sympathise with concerned citizens who feel the need to express their anger and frustration with the situation.
“At this time we ask that these individuals refrain from any aggressive action or harassment of our employees.
“We ask for the patience of the community as we continue to work with local law enforcement on our next steps.
“We will be closed for the remainder of the day. We give our condolences to Tierra Binion and her family.”
