An elderly lady in the USA has scooped her third USD 50,000 lottery prize after once again playing the same combination of numbers that came to her in a dream after praying for a win.

The 77-year-old woman from the area of Silver Spring, Maryland State, USA, won a total of USD 150,000 (GBP 116,754) after she matched numbers 7, 11, 33, 35 and 39, three times since 2008.

The lucky great-grandmother said she had two dreams about the same set 15 years ago, which at the time led her to a USD 50,000 (GBP 38,911) win.

She then won the same amount playing the same combination in 2019, before winning again on Maryland Lottery’s Bonus Match 5 drawing on Sunday evening, 16th July.

The janitorial services business owner said in a statement obtained by Newsflash from Maryland Lottery: “My faith is strong.

“Finances were tight back then, so I prayed about it and then had a dream about those numbers.”

The woman had reportedly bought her ticket at Williams Beer & Wine in the area of Burtonsville.

At lottery headquarters she recalled how she checked her ticket by calling the Lottery’s winning numbers line and said: “When they read back the Bonus Match 5 numbers, I was like, ‘Well, those numbers sound familiar.'”

She continued: “But, I didn’t scream! I kept my calm.”

The lady revealed she chose to keep the winning news to herself, and said she will use the money for dental work and a nice vacation.

Maryland Lottery officials said: “The Lottery retailer, Williams Beer & Wine, located at 15440 Old Columbia Pike is also celebrating this win.

” For selling a top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 ticket, the Montgomery County business will receive a USD 500 [GBP 389] bonus from the Lottery.

“This is one of 17 USD 50,000 [GBP 38,911] top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 tickets sold in 2023.”
