A police officer on patrol was injured after a car crashed into his vehicle during in a traffic stop.
The State Police trooper was hit by a car travelling in the centre lane while he was pulled over in the right lane of I-84 East in the area of Exit 50 in Hartford, in the US State of Connecticut on 13th August.
Dash-cam footage shows a red Subaru sliding around a turn and crashing into the rear end of the cruiser, pushing it into the stopped car in front of it.
The trooper suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. The driver of the Subaru was charged with several violations.
