US Soldiers Welcomed Back Home After Year-Long Deployment

This is the moment US soldiers are given a warm welcome home by family and loved ones after a year-old deployment in Syria.

Soldiers from the 125th Infantry Regiment and Delta Company (MICO) of the Michigan Army National Guard concluded the lengthy deployment as their plane landed at Lansing, Michigan.

The heartwarming reunion took place as families and friends eagerly welcomed the returning heroes on the 16th of August 2023.

The soldiers, hailing from Grand Rapids, Detroit, Lansing, Saginaw, and Wyoming, played a vital role in supporting Operation Inherent Resolve during their overseas service.

The homecoming event exuded an atmosphere of warmth and affection, with loved ones coming together to express their unwavering support for the servicemen.
