Stunning ‘Charlie’s Angels’ superstar Lucy Liu has been stopped for a photo by a police officer while filming her latest movie.
Liu, who gained fame for her roles in ‘Charlie’s Angels’ and ‘Kill Bill’, was halted for a quick snap by police officers Gene Perotta and Walt Berg in Cranford, New Jersey State, USA, earlier this month.
The 54-year-old New York-based actress was reportedly in the middle of a movie set, when the fanatic cop duo approached her and asked her to take a photo.
Cranford Police Department then shared the snaps of the actress with the two officers on Facebook on Tuesday, 19th September.
The department said in a statement obtained by Newsflash: “Special thanks to Lucy Liu for stopping to greet Lt. Gene Perrotta and SLEO Walt Berg this month while filming a movie in Cranford.”
Social media users did not restrain from praising the actress after the department published the photos online.
Facebook user ‘Colleen Ann’ said: “She looks very nice and down to earth!”
Then user ‘Jessica Mae’ commented: “She’s from my neighbourhood in Queens. Younger than me though.”
And ‘Brighton Air Corp’ added: “Watch it she’s a dangerous young lady (Charlie’s Angels). Great actress.”
The Emmy-nominated actress is one of many Hollywood stars to shoot in the area in recent years after Pete Davidson, 29, was spotted in the town’s south side last year filming ‘Dumb Monkey’.
Actresses Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain were also seen filming ‘Mother’s Instinct’ in the area in 2022.
